So far the ambulance services provided to th. epuchong folks come from Hospital serdang or Putrajaya hospital. Therefor it normally take 30minutes to the place of distress.
We are asking for the ambulance to standby as it is vital minutes in life saving situation. international acceptable pratice of response time is 8 minutes 59 seconds but it is not a must but is based on cardiac emergency case.
I hope that we will be a ble to get better emergency medical service in Pucong. Lets work towards it.

School transfer.
Many anxious parents cannot register their children at their preferred choice of schools as there are limited classes available.
I will like to advise the parents to go back to the school which they are suppose to attend when the school term reopen and register their child at the respective schools, collect the buku bantuan first and register for change of school.
Most schools will be able to know the results of students asking for transfer by the 12th of January 2009.
From there we can get a clear picture and there may be available seats for transfer. I hope that the parents who are really in need can contact me at 012 2732148 and please do not give up trying.

Bangladeshi bus stop Puchong Utama.
I were really taken aback by the condition of the bus stop in puchong Utama. It is a makeshift kind of war torn tent which can only be found in war ravaging countries but in Malaysia. Wow, something must be done urgently. The kind of bus stop is really disheartening and to notice that the total passenger is amounting to 1000 per day is really disturbing. I am very surprised that the local authority is still keeping silent after many complaints made and no action even the new goverment took over.
Hopefully to be able to get a meeting between all the taikos on 3rd of January so that can iron out the problem.
hope to see something can crop up after the meeting.
Want to see the bus stop?
Go to Puchong Utama where the JPN is located.
Merry Christmas to all of you and happy new year.

Penduduk minta lampu isyarat BANDAR PUTERI -
Maka janganlah tunggu kemalangan jiwa berlaku baru pelaksanaannya hendak dikaji,” katanya. Bekas Ahli Majlis MPSJ, Datuk Samson David Maman berkata, pihaknya sedia maklum pembinaan lampu isyarat di persimpangan itu sudah diluluskan dalam satu Mesyuarat Infrastruktur bersama pemaju tahun lalu. Bagaimanapun katanya, beliau kecewa apabila pembinaan lampu isyarat berkenaan masih belum dilaksanakan sehingga tahun ini. “Keselamatan jalan utama Bandar Puteri ini perlu dipertingkatkan kerana ia membabitkan nyawa pengguna jalan raya. “Kenapa masih memberi alasan perlu kaji atau berfikir lagi sedangkan ia boleh meragut banyak nyawa pengguna jika masih tiada tindakan,” katanya ketika menghubungi Sinar Harian.

accident in bandar puteri
Today about 12 pm I were in Bandar Puteri trying to get a MRI done in the Columbia Asia hospital. as I were approaching the hospital I saw two bodies lying on the road with no help to be seen. I alighted from my car and notice the first victim is a foreign young small size lady and another victim is a man. I notice the girl's leg is broken and she is seriously injured. I am helpless until medics and help arrive. I congratulate the medical satff of Columbia Asia for providing immediate and vital medical assitance which may prove vital for saving their lives. I assume the girl may not live as she is seriously injured. I do not understand why there is no traffic light on the junction as after the ramp was opened many vehicles speed and by going 80 km an hour the driver will have 4 seconds to react to any obstacle in front of us and many of the motorist do not react that fast. As the ramp is going uphill vision is limited and this contribute to the high accident rate. The vehicle coming out from bandat puteri will also have their vision block as they can't see the vehicles approaching from the slope. To make matter worse when they cross the halfway mark they need to be on the lookout for the vehicles leaving Bandar Puteri. I am not an expert in road and engineering aspect but as a road user I know there should be a traffic light or the junction must be close.
I really hope MPSJ can do something before any more tragedi happened. Kindly be considerate. to the new selangor govt jangan lah tidur, Hoi Bangun lah kami perlukan kamu untuk bekerja.

Chinese new year.
Today 6th of December, after waking up I started to listen to chinese new songs. This remind me of the old days while in the rubber estate where we always get excited as our neighbours will come together to help one another in making cookies and other chinese goodies. The most memorable moment include my dad making the lap yok the dried chinese pork where he hang the pork to dry in the backyard hangging on he bamboo poles. ( the pork was marinated earlier ) Mom will do her usual ni koh steamming from a big pot. We are so poor until festival day only we can eat chicken even though we rear a lot of chickens and ducks. Chicken and pork prawns are luxuries only available during the new year.
Dad sau choi tong was the best soup I had ever taken until now. Maybe it was because of the love he showered into our life. In adversity we never blame ourselves although there were squabbles and fights among us.
I don't know how we can survive without electricity but we were doing fine without it last time.
Remembering those days where we live under the coconut trees......
Sigh...... what a beautiful memory....... the smell of the morning dew will never be found again?
The fear of centipide and scorpions, snakes make us more cautious and safety wary. Now we become more worry about bigger snakes and scorpions that can move fast ie cars and lorries that can kill and maim us as most of our time is on the road.
Ha ha fear then will never vanish, so why worry? Enjoy what you have now. Be prudent and careful as God gave us this beautidul moment to enjoy.

Getting to know the work of the police better
Getting to know the work of the police better
Story and photo by LIM CHIA YING

SELANGOR Chief Police Officer Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar is urging the public to trust the police, as the police cannot exist without the people’s support.
“We need the community’s support in combating crime,” said Khalid, who was the guest of honour at the Selangor police headquarters in Shah Alam when the community policing of the Sri Serdang constituency service centre paid a visit.
He said certain quarters were discouraging people from trusting the police.
“Community leaders or elected representatives should help people to lodge crime reports and not organise protest,” said Khalid, adding that he welcomed the official visit of the Sri Serdang community policing.
Do your part: Supt Che Hussin (left) showing the community policing members how to register as Rakan Cop members.
“Through this kind of visits people can learn more about our control centre and the steps being taken to curb crime,” Khalid said.
Head of the delegation Kuan Chee Heng said the purpose of the visit was to better understand how the police emergency response works.
“We want to educate people on the real nature of police work and the fact that they would react to any emergency effectively,” said Kuan, who is also the adviser to the Bukit Puchong community policing programme.
Selangor traffic and public order chief Supt Che Hussin Omar briefed the visitors on the contingent’s control centre and took questions from the floor.
On the community policing concept, he said it was a shared responsibility between the police and the public.
“As long as the police receives reliable information from the public about suspicious characters, then it is not hard to catch the person.
When asked about the police manpower shortage, Khalid said the government was addressing the problem.
“Policemen have to be recruited and trained for about six to seven months. It may take between eight and 10 years to solve the manpower problem.”
Asked if the influx of foreigners in the country have contributed to the crime rate, Khalid conceded, but claimed that the percentage of crime contribution by locals was higher.
He said crime index and statistics have shown that crime in Selangor had dropped.
When told that there are people out there who do not make reports thus not reflecting the actual crime figure, Khalid said it’s the elected reps’ responsibility to get the people to work closely with the police.
Meanwhile Kuan said they are towards achieving zero tolerance concept and broken window theory in their community policing.
“The broken window theory means people must take care of petty crimes in their neighbourhood so that it won’t escalate into bigger ones.
“With zero tolerance, we want residents to not tolerate even petty crimes, and report to the police.”
For emergency, call the Selangor contingent headquarters hotline at 03-2052 9999 or Malaysian Control Centre at 03-2262 6444.

Tunjuk kuat
Ai yah,
Datuk M K warned the party will pulll out of BN if the ISA is not ammended. Cakap boleh lah and please as a lawyer prepare a draft for consideration. Why manusia now talk only but don't offer solution. Don't lah behave like opposition offer nothing in solution. When we say something is not right we must offer what is right. So Datuk pls offer a draft to be discuss or else will be left to talk only.
I believe that we as rakyat will also like to see the PPP leader giving valuable comment.
Thank you Datuk and no hard feeling.
